Digital Transgender Archive
Press for Change (PFC) is a UK-based trans-activist group dedicated to fighting anti-trans discrimination through legal support and public education. PFC was formed in 1992 and has since been influential in guaranteeing civil protections for trans people across the UK, lobbying for Employment Regulations (1999), the Interdepartmental Working Group on Transsexual People (1999-2000), and the Gender Recognition Act (2004). Collection primarily contains organizational records, publicity materials, lobbing correspondence, and legislative campaign papers.
