A letter from Lateefah Simon, the executive director of the Center for Young Women's Development, to San Francisco's Deputy City Attorney about the rage and disgust she feels about the events that occurred as well as the inability of the state to act about it. This item comes from the Victoria Schneider papers at the GLBT Historical Society. Schneider is an intersex activist and former sex worker best known for her 1997 lawsuit against the City and County of San Francisco, concerning an unlawful strip search during her booking at the San Francisco County Jail.
