Digital Transgender Archive
Renaissance Update, 1982-06/1982-08 was published by Renaissance: Gender Identity Services, a nonprofit organization serving the gender dysphoric community. Renaissance focused on gender identity across the then-current transvestite/transsexual spectrum, including information on meetings, classes, counseling, and bibliographies of related material for further research. This issue contains information on far-right attacks on civil liberties, the ACLU, Planned Parenthood, families of trans people, Rupert Raj's counseling service, and various news and organization updates.
