Thalia Fontan is a Puerto Rican and white transwoman from Wisconsin. At the time of this interview, Fontan was a student at the University of Minnesota. In this oral history Fontan speaks at length about her family relationships, mental health, bullying, street harassment, self worth, and racism. She also touches upon workplace discrimination, equity, the Midwest Bisexual Lesbian Gay Transgender Asexual College Conference (MBLGTACC), and trans visibility.
