Kay Grabriel discusses studying critical theory and literature, her radicalization through Occupy Wall Street and becoming a communist, and her writing as a poet. Kay grew up in a left Jewish family in Canada, and has had a life-long commitment to opposing Zionism. She describes getting hormones over the internet while studying abroad, and entering graduate school as a means to healthcare. She also discusses her struggles with an eating disorder and forms of self-harm. Photo by Matt Grub.
