Digital Transgender Archive
Jessi Brandon is a Black non-binary demiboy from Germany and Alabama. At the time of this interview, Brandon was a student at Macalester College. In this oral history, Brandon speaks at length about learning about gender divergence through online platforms such as Tumblr and Instagram, as well as their experiences with neurodivergence. They also touch upon snowflake rhetoric, their childhood in Germany, clothing, and their spirituality. They end with their hopes for a more accepting future.
