1949 letter written by Maida Springer on behalf of the Pauli Murray city councilor campaign reflecting on the election results. Springer remarks that while Murray lost, they still managed to win over 13,00 votes, which is still a feat. Springer's letter thanks the Murray campaign supporters and hopes for a future where someone like Murray will be elected.
