Digital Transgender Archive
Interviewer Sebastián Castro Niculescu speaks to Dan Rosensweet about growing up in Brooklyn as an only child, coming out to family members as trans, and how in retrospect they can pinpoint moments in their childhood that pointed to the fact that they were trans. Dan speaks of the differences they experienced in acceptance from different family members, from liberal relatives to a military veteran father, and how today's language allows for people to identify more freely.
