Digital Transgender Archive
The Educational TV Channel (ETVC), which became Transgender San Francisco (TGSF) in 1998, was created to be a “social, recreational and education support group for transvestites, transsexuals, transgenderists and their friends and/or Significant Others” (December 1984). This collection contains issues of the organization’s newsletter from 1984 through 2006, as well as materials related to member Ginny Knuth. Knuth was the cis partner of a crossdresser, and the couple both held leadership roles in ETVC.
